The Bridge is where dreams can become reality. It is a meeting place of visionary minds — innovative thinkers brought together to create brain trusts capable of bringing new resources to bear on old problems or giving birth to something entirely new.
The Bridge is the brainchild of Marty Lewis of Pacific Grove, Calif., who spent 37 years in advertising and marketing in television, newspapers, magazines and the internet. In fact, Marty IS The Bridge. With her dedication to the truth, her blazing passion for peace and her conviction that working for the betterment of all is not only profitable but essential to long-term success in any venture, hers is a clarion voice of hope in these troubled times.
Marty is self-described “connector.” She is genuinely interested in others, and, in response to her generosity and openness, people open up to her and share not only who they are and what they do, but also their unrealized hopes and dreams. Over the years Marty has met and developed relationships with countless established professionals - engineers, scientists, military officers, architects, doctors, contractors, business executives journalists, artists - forming a wide-ranging network of original thinkers who recognize that a lot of the old approaches aren’t working and who want to see positive change. These are people who want to use their time and talent not just to make money but to make a difference in the world as well.
Deeply intuitive, Marty has the capacity to link people up by recognizing how somebody in one field could offer just the right combination of expertise to help someone in another field get their venture off the ground. In other words, she “matches” people, not just for their professional capabilities, but for something else, something intangible - their compatibility and like-mindedness, their energy, if you will. “It’s not something you think or see, it’s something you feel,” she says.
Her enthusiasm and positive attitude are infectious. The relationships she has formed are built on trust, a commodity that is hard to find in today’s world.
“What we are experiencing in currency is a loss of trust,” says Marty. “This is all about trust and getting back on track and that everything is in perfect order. We’ve been blinded by fear and lack, and once the connections are revealed, we’ll find we are perfectly supported all the time.
“The problem is that everybody is going upstream, and they are all trying to save themselves. If they stopped and turned around to help the guy behind them, then we have everything. We have everything it takes; we have all the pieces; it’s about partnering and seeing how we’re all pieces of the same puzzle, we’re all interconnected.”
